We are excited to share that our annual Author’s Luncheon is making its return on March 5 at the Alta Vista Country Club with featured speaker, Marla Jo Fisher. Marla Jo Fisher was a workaholic hard news reporter for decades before she adopted two children from foster care at age 46 and picked up a couple of scruffy dogs along the way. She now writes the Frumpy Middle-Age Mom humor column that appears in the Orange County Register and 10 other Southern California newspapers weekly. When she’s not having a nervous breakdown, she’s usually traveling somewhere cheaply and writing about it. A book on her adventures was published in November 2020.
