Letters from Santa 2020 Recap

Ah, the holidays. The most wonderful time of the year. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose, and the joys of Placentia Library Friends Foundation’s Letters from Santa event. Among the cold of the winter, we warmed hearts with holiday cheer and raised support for our library when none other than jolly old Saint Nick himself left a bundle of gifts for us to give away to our community.

Undoubtedly after long holiday nights of preparation with his team at the North Pole, Santa round up Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph to leave behind delightful custom gift packages for Placentia Library’s community. Filled to the merry brim with ice cream tokens for Blue Scoop, (courtesy of Rudolph with his nose shining oh-so-bright), Cookie Element gift certificates (one of Santa’s favorite stops after a long night of gift delivering), a recording from the warm voices of Mrs. Claus and Santa as they retold the iconic story of what went down “The Night Before Christmas”, personal letters from Santa with certified “Nice” certificates, and other stocking-stuffer goodies such as stickers!

We hoped it sparked a little bit of magic during the holiday season. Don’t forget to be good this year, cause Santa plans on coming back around for another year of holiday cheer!
