Engaging discussion at the 2019 Author’s Luncheon

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, the Placentia Library Friends Foundation hosted it’s annual Author’s Luncheon at Alta Vista Country Club.

This year’s authors were mystery writers Matt Coyle and Lisa Brackmann. The event opened with a performance by jazz ensemble Kyle Kato and Friends, followed by a three-course meal, and an engaging discussion presented by both authors.

After the discussion, the audience engaged the authors in an enlightening question and answer session. The event was very well attended, with over 140 people in attendance.

All proceeds that the Friends garnered from this event will directly benefit the library, as the Foundation is committed to raising money for Placentia Library resources, programs and capital projects
